Depending on the severity of your condition, the team at Dream Dental & Sleep in Hermitage, PA may recommend one of the following treatments for sleep apnea:

Oral appliance: There are two types of oral appliances for sleep apnea. A mandibular advancement device (MAD) shifts your jaw slightly forward to prevent the tissues in the back of your throat from collapsing during sleep. A tongue splint stabilizes your tongue to prevent it from blocking your airway.

Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP): If you have severe sleep apnea, your dental provider might team with your medical physician for more extensive treatments. A CPAP machine delivers air to your lungs throughout the night so you physically can’t stop breathing. With this solution, you wear a fitted mask over your mouth and nose while the machine delivers the air you need to breathe.

Meet Dr. Danielle M. Trott

DMD
Dr. Danielle M. Trott received a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University and continued on to complete her DMD degree at Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry in 2012. She immediately started in private practice and has enjoyed treating patients for all of their restorative needs. Through her experience in general dentistry, she has come to see the thousands of patients who could benefit from a dental solution for sleep apnea treatment. She has completed an intensive course of study through Vivos therapeutics and is a diplomat of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. She is continually training through continuing education courses to better treat each patient’s individual needs. She is proud to offer personalized patient care by listening to her patients and paying close attention to details. When she is not caring for her patients, she enjoys spending time with her 5 children and her husband, Joe.

Meet Dr. Dr. Domenic Lombardi

D.D.S

Dr. Ron Kaminer is a 1990 graduate of the State University of NY at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. After completing a two year post graduate residency at North Shore University Hospital, Dr. Kaminer started practicing in Lawrence, where he practiced for over 12 years before moving to his state-of-the-art Hewlett location.

Dr. Kaminer was one of the first 100 dentists in the U.S in 1993 to use a hard tissue laser in his practice. Since then, Dr. Kaminer went on to create training courses for numerous Dental laser companies and is considered to be an international laser expert by his peers. He is a clinical consultant for many manufacturers and is an associate editor for the Dental Product Shopper magazine. He does all this while practicing an average of 42 hours per week.

Dr. Klein achieves clinical excellence in restorative, cosmetic and implant dentistry for patients of all ages. She is an avid user of both digital and laser technology to help improve the dental and oral health of her patients. Dr.Klein is Invisalign certified and can provide minor tooth movement through clear aligners to help create the perfect smile.

Dr. Klein has been praised by her patients for her gentle touch and pleasant disposition. She believes that it is important to take the time to listen to her patients and ensure that they feel comfortable and relaxed in the dental chair.

Dr. Esther Penn is passionate about changing lives through meticulous comprehensive Dental care. After graduating SUNY @ Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, Dr Penn completed a one-year general practice residency at Long Island Jewish medical center. In a desire to pursue a degree in Prosthodontics, Dr Penn continued her studies at the Veterans Administration Medical Center. After receiving her Prosthodontic degree, Dr. Penn stayed on at the V.A. for a second specialty degree in Maxillo- facial Prosthetics. This program offered her advanced training and clinical expertise in all aspects of full mouth rehabilitation and implant Dentistry while mastering the art of complete prosthodontic care.
